Based in Japan, Feather has been around for 80 years. They do one thing: make the world’s best blades. All of their blades are made with the highest quality steel. Feather has a proprietary finishing process that leaves the blades with a perfect leading edge – the best we found in our two years of research.

As for the FHS-10 model, these blades are made of hi-stainless steel and coated in platinum. They’re 0.23mm thick, making them nearly twice as thick as the average double edge safety razor blade. All of this translates to an ultra-sharp, yet smooth, comfortable blade.

The OneBlade HiCarbon SE is made in one of the leading blade manufacturing facilities in China. It is made from high-carbon steel, and coated in both PTFE and chromium. These blades are also 0.23mm thick--twice that of a standard double-edge safety razor blade. In combination with our unique grind and hone angles, this gives a superior blade life and an ultra-smooth shave.
